The Initial Game Pass Games of 2026 Demonstrate Xbox Isn't Giving Up Yet.

Across the gaming landscape, fans keep sounding the knell for the green team. Xbox was recently outsold by a lesser-known competitor. Xbox fan sites are now publishing content on PS5 topics for the first time. The past year represented complete chaos for Xbox and Microsoft. But if we're going solely off the upcoming Game Pass lineup in 2026, it's evident that Microsoft remains determined to engage players with strong games on its key platform.

The Immediate Additions

A pair of titles currently accessible at this moment, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, aren't the showstoppers. Rather, it's what is coming to Game Pass in the coming weeks that's worth getting excited about.

Significant Forthcoming Releases

On Jan. 13, the platform will add the often-overlooked Star Wars Outlaws, a vast exploration title that deviates from conventional open-world tropes with a cosmic robbery tale. Another big get is Resident Evil Village with its iconic tall vampire, hailed in past assessments as "a superb mixture of frights and fights."

Noteworthy Smaller Games

But even the smaller games coming to Game Pass soon are noteworthy here. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, an unjustly ignored roguelite offering thrilling gameplay, arrives January 7th — and it's worth experiencing even if you missed out on the first Lost in Random game.

The British post-apocalyptic game from last year could captivate you in about 15 minutes flat.

Atomfall, the stealth survival game by the makers of Sniper Elite, is another one to watch. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to anticipate.

A Well-Rounded Collection

In summary, these titles aren't industry-shaking releases to Game Pass, nor are they massive exclusive blockbusters that are the sole reason for the service by themselves. But Microsoft's additions here are very dependable. The lineup provides a solid mix of past releases that passed you by and fairly new titles that lacked the recognition they deserved the first time around — rendering them excellent choices to get a second chance on Game Pass.

Hope you're ready to bid farewell to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, as it happens.
